Roundcube is a web-based email client included with cPanel that allows you to send, receive, and manage your email directly from a web browser without installing any software.
This guide explains how to access Roundcube and use its main features.
Step 1: Log in to Roundcube
You can access Roundcube in two ways.
Option 1: Through cPanel

Log in to your cPanel account.

Scroll to the Email section.

Click Email Accounts.

Locate your email account.

Click Check Email.

Select Open under Roundcube.
Option 2: Direct Webmail Login
You can also log in directly through webmail.
Example:
https://yourdomain.com/webmail or https://webmail.yourdomain.com
Enter:

Email Address: your full email address

Password: your email password
Then click Log in and choose Roundcube.
Roundcube Interface Overview
After logging in, you will see the main Roundcube interface.
Main areas include:

Folders Panel: Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Junk, and Trash.

Message List: Displays emails in the selected folder.

Reading Pane: Shows the contents of the selected email.

Toolbar: Buttons for composing, replying, deleting, and managing messages.
How to Send an Email

Click Compose in the top menu.

Enter the recipient's email address in the To field.

Enter a Subject.

Write your message in the message body.

Click Send.
Your email will appear in the Sent folder after it is sent.
How to Reply or Forward an Email

Click the email you want to open.

Click Reply, Reply All, or Forward from the toolbar.

Write your response or add recipients.

Click Send.
How to Attach Files

Click Compose to create a new message.

In the compose window, locate the Attachments section.

Click Attach a file.
-
Select the file from your computer.

Send the email as normal.
How to Organize Emails
You can move messages between folders to keep your mailbox organized.
To move an email:

Select the email from the message list.

Click Move to in the toolbar.

Choose the destination folder.
You can also drag and drop emails into folders.
How to Create a New Folder

Click Settings in the top right corner.

Select Folders.
-
Click the Create button.
-
Enter a name for the new folder.

Click Save.
Your new folder will appear in the folder list.
How to Set an Email Signature

Click Settings.
-
Select Identities.
-
Click your email identity.
-
Enter your signature in the Signature field.

Click Save.
Your signature will now appear automatically in new messages.
How to Search for Emails

Use the Search bar above the message list.

Enter keywords, an email address, or a subject.

Press Enter to search.
Roundcube will display matching emails.
Logging Out of Roundcube
When finished using webmail:

Click the Logout button in the top right corner.
Logging out is recommended when using a shared or public computer.
Tips for Using Roundcube

Empty your Trash and Junk folders regularly to free up mailbox space.

Use folders to organize important emails.
-
Always log out if you are using a public or shared device.

If your mailbox becomes full, you may need to delete old messages or increase your mailbox quota.
