How to Add Your cPanel Email Account to an iPhone (iOS Mail App)
This guide explains how to configure your cPanel email account in the iPhone Mail app, including the correct SMTP authentication settings required to send email.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following information:

Email Address: yourname@example.com

Email Password: Your email account password

Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
You can confirm these settings in cPanel → Email Accounts → Connect Devices.
Step 1: Open Mail Settings

On your iPhone, open Settings.

Scroll down and tap Mail.

Tap Accounts.

Tap Add Account.
Step 2: Choose Account Type

Tap Other at the bottom of the list.

Tap Add Mail Account.
Step 3: Enter Your Email Information
Fill in the following fields:

Name: Your name (displayed on outgoing emails)

Email: Your full email address (example: yourname@example.com)

Password: Your email password

Description: Any label you prefer (example: Work Email)
Tap Next.
Step 4: Select IMAP (Recommended)
At the top, select IMAP.

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

Tap Next.
Step 5: Save the Account

Wait while your iPhone verifies the settings.

Ensure Mail is enabled.

Tap Save.
Your email account will now be added to the Mail app.
Configuring SMTP Authentication (Important)
If you experience issues sending email, verify that SMTP authentication is enabled.

Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts.

Tap your newly added email account.

Tap Account.

Tap SMTP under Outgoing Mail Server.

Tap Primary Server.
Confirm the following settings:

Use SSL: Enabled

Authentication: Password

User Name: your full email address

Server Port: 465 (recommended)
Tap Done to save.
