Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

Go to the Administration > Settings > General panel.

In the box for WordPress Address (URL): change the address to the new location of your main WordPress files. For example, if you installed WordPress in a folder named "wp" you would change the url to http://domain.com/wp

In the box for Site Address (URL): enter the URL for your domain (http://domain.com).

Click Save Changes.

Copy the index file from the wordpress folder to your root folder.

Open the copy of the index file in the root folder and change this line:

require( dirname( __FILE__ ) . '/wp-blog-header.php' );

to this line:

require( dirname( __FILE__ ) . '/wp/wp-blog-header.php' );

Copy the .htaccess file from the wp folder to the root folder.

Access your website at http://yourdomain.com

Access your WP Dashboard at http://yourdomain.com/wp/login.php
