Troubleshooting Tips
If Outlook 365 fails to connect after updating your password:
-
Verify that the new password is entered correctly in both cPanel and Outlook.
-
Check your incoming/outgoing server settings:
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Incoming Mail Server | mail.yourdomain.com |
| Outgoing Mail Server | mail.yourdomain.com |
| IMAP Port | 993 |
| SMTP Port | 465 |
| Encryption | SSL/TLS |
-
Ensure SMTP authentication is enabled in Outlook 365.
-
Update your password on all devices using this email to prevent sync errors.
✅ Pro Tip:
Using IMAP instead of POP3 keeps your email synchronized across devices, including your phone, tablet, webmail, and Outlook 365.
